Additional Information
AUDITION FEE:
A $40, non-refundable audition fee (Debit/Credit cards are accepted) and can be paid by visiting our online store. The fee must be paid and registration completed in order for your video submissions to be considered once auditions close.
HOW TO PREPARE:
It is ideal that potential candidates have thorough dance or colorguard training prior to auditioning for an Independent World colorguard. However, we will not deny anyone the opportunity to come audition or gain experience through the audition process with Paramount Winterguard. Each auditioning performer that submits a video will receive thorough feedback from our staff for them to consider and practice.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Please wear comfortable, form- fitting, solid, dark-colored, dance or athletic wear. Hair needs to be pulled back out of your face, and jewelry is not to be worn while rehearsing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO AUDITION:
This season's auditions will be conducted virtually with in-person callbacks. You will need a recording device and internet capability for uploading your submissions to YouTube. It is also important that you have a solid financial plan in place for how you will meet the responsibilities of paying membership dues. Our season calendar is available on our website- please consider and communicate any and all possible conflicts on your registration form.
